Meaning of “education”:

Education means “the process of receiving or giving systematic instructions”.

Definition of education:

Education is the process of facilitating learning, or the acquisition of knowledge, skills, values, beliefs, and habits.

FOR EXAMPLE, An example of education is attended schools to study.

Types of education:

There are mainly three types of education;

1: Formal education

2: Informal education

3: Non-formal education

--Formal education:

Formal education is a structured and systematic form of learning. This is the education of a certain standard delivered to students by trained teachers. 

FOR EXAMPLE, Examples of formal learning include classroom instruction, web-based training, remote labs, e-learning courses, seminars, etc.

Informal education:

Informal education is the type of knowledge that one gains through several life experiences. This knowledge can be the one that we obtain from our parents and elders.

FOR EXAMPLE, Examples of informal learning include self-directed learning, networking, coaching, and mentoring, etc.

Non-formal education:

Non-formal education is defined as one that is framed according to the requirement of a particular job. This type of training is not considered as a necessity but more of a skill. 

FOR EXAMPLE: Examples of non-formal education include swimming and several fitness programs etc.

Importance of education:

Education plays a very important role in our lives. The life of an educated and uneducated person is completely different. There are many reasons in which ways education is very important few are discussed below:

3: Better livelihood

4: High wisdom level

5: Awareness of right and wrong

6: Play a role in the development of countries

7: Decreases poverty

---Ability to read and write:

Education plays a very important role in improving our ability to read and write. An educated person is far better than an uneducated person.

---Confidence:

Education helps in increasing confidence in a person. An educated person is very confident and knows how to deal with another person. However, an uneducated person cannot even deal with another person in this way education is very important.

---Better livelihood:

Education plays a vital role in enhancing the livelihood of a person. An educated person is well settled and full of life in comparison to an uneducated person. An educated person gets better jobs and can earn money to improve his/her life.

---Awareness of right and wrong:

An educated person is well aware of right and wrong. An educated citizen is aware of consumer rights, right to vote, or right against exploitation by the employer. Moreover, he/she can raise a voice against some wrong happening around his/her.

---Plays role in the development of countries:

Education plays an important role in the development of countries. The educated countries are making progress day by day. Developing countries should have to recognize the importance of education and must focus on the development of the high valued educational system 

 ---Decrease poverty:

Education decreases poverty. An educated person can get better jobs and can earn money, in this way poverty decreases. The countries, where education is impotent, are making progress day by day.

Roll of education in society:

Education plays a vital role in society. People learn basic rules, regulations, and values of society through education. Moreover educated people to respect the rules of society which in turn, society respects the person. A society is recognized by the people living in it; educated people are loved and respected by all.
